PPassSurf Camp

The only locally owned, Australian managed surf camp in POHNPEI, MICRONESIA.  Your hosts are all very experienced water men & have certified first aid training to ensure you are in safe hands what ever the size of the waves.  Our guests are guaranteed a unique personal service & un-crowded perfect waves as only 8 surfers are allowed in the camp at one time.

P-PASS SURF CAMP is unique in many ways & has a very traditional feel.  Once our hosts collect your luggage & surfboards, you will be transported to our bungalows in comfortable air-conditioned vehicles which are approximately 25minutes to the west side of the main town, Kolonia.

Pohnpei is the highest at over 780 meters, largest with a circumference of 80 miles & most developed island of the FEDERATED STATES of MICRONESIA with a population of 34,000.

Before entering the marine park you will experience the natural & almost un-touched surrounds of PALIKIR which is home to those locals using Palikir as their natural hunting grounds.

P-Pass Surf Camp is located at the base of the PALIKIR foothills in the ‘Sokehs' region.  Upon arrival you will experience the laid back friendly attitude of our staff & local guests using the marine park for their Sunday picnic & family gatherings.  We will drive you straight to the door of your private air-conditioned bungalow where you can help yourself to your own cold water dispenser or tea & coffee.  You can purchase snacks, chocolates, even beer & load up your bar fridge provided for your own use.

Our guests can sport-fish inside the marine park on a catch & release basis or take the complimentary kayaks & go discover the mangrove reef system.  It is also possible to dive & fish beyond the protected region which is within swimming distance from your own private bungalow.
